First Piece of Furniture

I've been learning to operate a robotic cutting system on the side whenever I needed to switch gears in design. The focus was to learn the machine and materials which meant I was cutting objects from plans found online - like from OpenDesk.cc or Wikihouse.cc.

Now I am designing furniture from scratch. They start on index cards or in Paper, firm up in SketchUp, and then are toolpathed in Aspire. Here is the desk I designed, machined, and finished in maple plywood.
